This cruise is a ‘new addition’ to our live-aboard trips and is a combination of sailing, snorkeling, kayaking and diving.

Phang Nga Bay

is extremely sheltered – land-locked on three sides - an ideal cruising ground all year round.  A visit to Phang Nga Bay, to the north east of Phuket is a ‘must’ during any stay in or around Phuket. Mystic rock formations tower vertically out of the waters, known locally as ‘hongs’ – many of these little islands have hollow centers! Kayaks are the ideal way to visit the hongs; at low tide it is possible to go inside through ‘a whole in the wall’! The extremely picturesque Phang Nga Bay  and its surrounding limestone outcrops were the featured location for the film “The Man with the Golden Gun”.

Krabi

features some of Thailand’s most stunning landscapes and forms part of the Had Noppharat Marine National Park. Large outcrops tower from the water to form curious monoliths.

Phi Phi Islands

spectacular rugged limestone cliffs rise out of the sea, forming the beautiful Phi Phi islands.  The area offers a good variety of different types of diving with abundant hard and soft corals.  Snorkeling around the islands is excellent with plenty of shallow coral gardens on the fringing reefs which are alive with colorful fish.

Approximate Itinerary PI Cruise Phuket island to Phi Phi Islands
	Friday: Meet at SEAL office in Patong at 8.30 am for 10.00 am departure for Phang Nga Bay.  Approx. three and a half hours to Ko Hong – arrive for lunch (1.30 pm).  The afternoon spent sea kayaking around the hongs (small islands).  Overnight anchorage at Koh Hong.
	Saturday: Early breakfast, setting sail at 8.00 am for Ko Phak Bia (15 nautical miles – 3 hours). Drop anchor around 11.00 am – swimming before lunch.  Up anchor and sail 3 n.m. to Koh Hong 2. Kayak exploration and evening anchorage on the north side of Ko Hong or Koh Dam
	Sunday: After breakfast, sail to  Ko Phi Phi  Don (20 miles – 3-4 hours).    Anchor, early lunch and swim;  two dives around Ko Bida and Hin Klai.   Overnight anchorage in Ton Sai Bay with opportunity to go ashore for the evening.
	Monday: Disembark from the yacht at 8.00 am.

Approximate Itinerary PI Cruise Phi Phi Islands to Phuket island
	Monday: Board yacht in Ton Sai Bay at 12.00 noon.   After lunch two dives around Ko Bida and Hin Klai.  Evening anchorage on the east coast of Ko Phi Phi Don.
	Tuesday: Early breakfast, setting sail at 8.00 am to Ko Dam or Ko Hong.  Anchor for lunch – swim, snorkel and/or kayak.  Evening anchorage at Ko Phak Bia or Ko Hong.
	Wednesday: 8.00 am sail to Phang Nga Bay – Ko Hong (3 hours).  Anchor for lunch.  Afternoon kayaking and exploring the hongs.  Overnight anchorage at Ko Wa Yai.
	Thursday: Disembark at the Yacht Haven (Laem Phrao) at 9.00 am.   Minibus to Patong Beach.

Pls. note: SEAL can arrange the ferry ticket from Phi Phi to Phuket (PP Cruise), or from Phuket to Phuket (PI Cruise).  The client can pay SEAL for this direct at our office in Patong, Phuket.  Cost US$10 p/person.

Cancellation Clause:
If circumstances should arise such as political unrest, fighting on the Thai/Burma border, flight cancellations or any other risk to customers or vessels, South East Asia Liveaboards Co Ltd reserves the right to cancel the trip. If this should be the case, we would re-route the trip to another destination at no extra cost to customers.
